Why These Title Classes?

• In recent years, and with a passion for the title Industry, I saw a need for solid, practical, educational information for specific areas In the Title Insurance Industry.
• Title insurance is not an easy industry to learn. Much of what I learned, I learned by rote. No one taught me the “what” or “why” of what I was doing, it was years of on-the-job training that really taught me the business. Much of what I originally thought turned out to be not quite correct as I began to take law classes.
• We make learning difficult concepts easy. We use everyday connections for people, using knowledge that people already have to learn new ideas, and we focus on appealing to all styles of learning. This helps all student s understand and retain important concepts.
• We have selected specific title courses in a number of detailed title areas for managers, owners of small title operations, abstractors, title examiners, closers, and those with title plants.
• The courses are specific to the title industry and can be used to learn new topics, sharpen skills, prepare for licensing examinations, stay current on a changing industry, and meet continuing education and licensing requirements. All classes are written by myself, or written by industry professionals and reviewed by myself, to assure they are appropriate for each state listed.
• The title industry is having a difficult time right now, causing the loss of many experienced personnel. As the market eventually picks up, we will once again need to hire. These classes provide an inexpensive way for new people to learn the title industry, in a complete and accurate manner. It will assist with on the job training and give the student an opportunity to be better at his job and possibly advance into higher positions.
• While many title professionals are technically excellent at what they do, they may not be good teachers. The learning techniques used in these classes will help students understand the difficult nature of real estate laws and title insurance. And the classes are designed in such a way that each course builds upon the last.
